Environmental Adjuster Certification Course – 2 Day – $295.00

CRU has now officially entered into the Environmental Claims arena and is currently building a first-class Environmental Adjuster roster! This exciting two day course will give you great oversight on what it means to be an environmental claims adjuster, while offering a broad glance at the many things you can expect when arriving to a TPA Environmental Claims event. This includes an overview of all claims types such as Bodily Injury, ALE, Lost Wages, Business Interruption, Property Damage, Auto Damage and more. The course also covers many topics such as Incident Command, HAZWOPER, Class Action and many other issues specific to this claims environment. AIA’s 1 Day “CRU Team Lead Expectations” course covers the expectations and responsibilities of all the CRU management positions and focus on the importance and need of our front line leader “The Team Lead”.  This course is required for all our Team Lead positions for all our independent contract positions.

PREREQUISITES:  Applicants for this course must have completed at least two previous CRU deployments with positive performance scores and/or submit a resume for management review and consideration. CRU/ONSITE Certification Course – 1 Day – $Free

Are you an Adjuster/Property Inspector looking for daily assignments when not deployed on CAT assignments?

CRU GROUP is currently seeking property inspectors/adjusters who choose to work in their home markets when not deployed that have the ability and proper equipment to access up to two-story and 12/12 pitch roofs in most major metropolitan areas throughout the US. The inspector role is the “boots on the ground” part of the team that handles the claim. As an inspector, you will use your smartphone and proprietary apps to capture pictures and metadata of the home exterior and roof. You will also have a virtual consult with a licensed insurance adjuster. We have prepared a certification course for our inspectors to be involved in this program.  The course will equip you to scope and identify exterior property damage, secure needed photos and digital information needed to complete your inspection and upload this information onsite. There is no cost involved, but you must attend the training and take a test to determine your knowledge and skills.

AIA’s 3  Day  Xactimate course takes the student from A to Z in the life of a claim.  The course not only teaches the student to master the Xactimate program but also how to correctly incorporate photos and reports.  The course begins with the FNOL (First notice of loss)  and takes the student through writing a complete file, including correctly ordered photos and properly documented reports.  Students in this course will acquire the knowledge and skill to quickly create accurate estimates using a variety of Xactimate tools.  Students will complete a variety of practice estimates and hands-on Xactimate exercises throughout the 3 day Course to reinforce newly learned skills.  2 homework assignments are included with the course with instructor feedback provided.

40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER Certification – 5 Days – $ 595.00

CRU’s 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER Certification takes the Environmental Claims Adjuster to the next level. Upon graduation, the student will receive a 40 Hour OSHA Compliant ID and Certificate that reaches far outside the boundaries of the insurance industry. This curriculum will expose the student to all aspects of the hazmat environment ranging from site control, decontamination procedures, emergency response, basic safety training, radiation, heat stress, personal protective equipment, chemical protective clothing and much more! AIA’s 2 Day “How to Write a Complete File with Symbility” course covers the demonstration and application of all the estimating features of the Symbility Software. Residential and Commercial File Reviewing – 2 Day – $295.00

This course provides an in depth picture of what it is to be a file reviewer. We dive into the job aids and claims practices for different types of losses and different carriers.  We also discuss policy coverage review.   We discuss the organization of the review process for a faster review without sacrificing quality of work.  We also discuss how to write a revision request to maintain a solid team environment between the reviewer and the adjuster.  Once you have completed this course, you should be able to review for any carrier and any IA firm.

Basics of Adjusting – 2 Weeks – $1,495.00

This course is designed for the student with no previous adjusting experience in mind. The two-week class will include policy interpretation, how to use Xactimate, the program of choice for the industry, construction techniques, wood roofing, composition roofing, scoping and client specifics. Materials needed for the course are a current laptop computer, a printer and a tape measure. The dress code is business casual. The class will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Citizens CAT (Field and Inside) Property Adjuster Certification Course – 1 Day – FREE

“Prerequisite –Must have FL Adjusters License, Must have minimum 6 months Property Adjusting Experience”

Tower Hill Claims Handling for Field Adjusters, Desk Examiners, and File Reviewers – 2 Day – $99.00

(Focused training on utilizing Symbility Mobile Claims & Claims Connect for Tower Hill Assignments) 

CRU, in coordination with AIA (Academy of Insurance Adjusting) is holding a special Two-Day class that will cover what you need to know to work a Residential deployment for Tower Hill in the event of a storm.  This two-day class will give you Tower Hill-specific information needed to work as a Field Adjuster, Desk, or File Reviewer Residential for Tower Hill Claims. CRU has a new contract with Tower Hill this Hurricane Season that includes both Field and Desk adjusters. Symbility Mobile Claims and Claims Connect will be utilized for all Field Adjuster, Desk Examiner, and File Reviewer assignments.  As it will be essential for all our claims handlers, this course will focus on training you to be proficient on these programs.  A laptop with an active Symbility account and Mobile Claims downloaded on your computer is required prior to attending this course.
