Description
AIA’s 1 Day “Scoping and Estimating Water/Fire Mitigation and Restoration” course provides an overview of the complexity of water and fire mitigation/restoration scoping and estimating procedures following a water/fire claim assignment. In this course we will train you to recognize damages caused by water and fire, determine the correct repair or restoration needed to bring the home to pre- loss condition, understand and determine what water/fire mitigation equipment will be required to complete the repairs, understand what “tear out” of materials is required to complete the repairs, and how to prepare an estimate to include the needed water/fire restoration or repairs. Upon completion of this course, the participant should be equipped to determine the needed water/fire restoration repairs needed on an assignment without waiting on the water/fire restoration specialist to provide the highest level of customer service to the carrier and insured.
Upon completion of this course, participants will receive 8 CE hours applied to the States of TX & FL. A certificate will be provided for the participant to pursue other States CE credentialing.
