AIA’s 1 Day “Large Loss Claims Handling/Investigation Procedures” course provides an overview of the complexity of large loss handling and the importance of the claims investigation process to handle these claims successfully. In this course we will train you to investigate the claim more thoroughly “on the front end” to assist you in preparation of the settlement recommendations on large loss claim. We will cover in depth review of the FNOL, policy, public reports, recorded statements, large loss damage assessment scoping, large loss estimate writing tips and settlement procedures. Upon completion of this course, the participant should be equipped to handle a large loss effectively and efficiently for the carrier with the highest level of customer service to the insured.

Upon completion of this course, participants will receive 7.5 CE hours applied to the States of TX & FL.  A certificate will be provided for the participant to pursue other States CE credentialing.

Prerequisites

Prerequisites: Training and/or experience in claims handling that included damage scoping, policy review, estimate preparation, coverage determination and settlement highly recommended prior to participating in this course.
